M/S Warvitar, originally a small steamship, was built in Savonlinna in 1923. In 1950, its engine was replaced with a diesel-powered one. The home port of the Warvitar is Mustalahti, in Tampere. The ship entered service providing charter cruises and fishing trips departing from Mustalahti in June 2009.
The Warvitar offers pleasant dinner events, meetings for management teams, and other gatherings for small groups. In addition to its crew of two, the ship accommodates 12 guests. Cruise prices from 150 eur/hour (incl. VAT and the crew).
Additional services, such as catering, fishing equipment, coffee, and refreshments, can be ordered. The boat does not have an alcohol-serving licence, but customers may bring their own beverages. You can also organise a party in the harbour. Then the ship accommodates 30 guests.
